Many soft wash cleaning contractors approach soft washing as a series of one-off jobs. They treat a property, get paid, but then never call back to their customers.
Is this really the way to run a profitable soft washing business?
No! The secret to building a long-term, successful and highly profitable soft washing business is to create relationships with your customers, which lead to REPEAT BUSINESS using the Benz "Clean & Maintain" softwash systems.
It's easy to sell customers on the idea of an ongoing maintenance programme, because who doesn't want a permanently clean property?
All that's required from you, as a soft wash cleaning contractor, is to:
a) make a note of the date of the first clean, what was done and which products were used.
b) make a note in your diary to phone or call your customer after 6-36 months (domestic properties) or 6-12 months (commercial premises), after obtaining their permission to stay in contact.
c) phone or visit your customer to arrange a time to do the work, which will usually be a simple and quick "spray and go" application of Benz Bio Cleanze.
This ongoing "Clean & Maintain" approach is great for your customer, excellent for your customer's property, and profitable repeat business for you as a softwash cleaning contractor.
Win-win-win in other words. What could possibly be better for everyone?
This high level of professional service sets a softwash contractor apart from the contractors who just "take the money and run". And even if they do return, continual spraying with high-strength hypo is a harsh way to treat a property.
We've received awful reports of the damage this practice has caused, which is entirely unnecessary if they were to have used Bio Cleanze for ongoing "Clean & Maintain" treatments.
Quick tip: A softwash contractor who is willing to revisit a customer in itself sends a message of trust and confidence to their customers. And it's the trust and confidence that customers have in a soft washing contractor that will give the contractor repeat business for many years to come.
We hope this information is helpful and sincerely wish you great success in your soft washing business,

It's a free resource for people wanting to learn about the soft washing industry, to expand an existing business, or build a new business.
Soft washing reduces, or even eliminates, the need to use high-pressure washing.
Instead, once the build up of algae, lichen, fungus and mould – the root causes of properties looking "dirty" – has been treated, the natural "self-cleansing" of sun, rain and wind removes the surface residue through time.
By educating the cleaning trade and public about soft washing we are helping develop an industry that offers sustainable treatments to clean and maintain exterior hard surfaces.
