In this video, Ben uses Benz Bio Cleanze to treat painted sand and cement render with a heavy build-up of organic growth.
The surface is affected by multiple species of algae, including green, red and black. Rather than removing this instantly, the treatment works over time, allowing the render to gradually clean through natural weathering — sun, wind and rain.
Quick tip:
Ben could have used Benz Lightning Cleanze for near-instant results. However, due to the high proportion of lead work on the building, Bio Cleanze was the safer and more appropriate option.
When explained to the customer, they were happy to allow the treatment to work over time rather than risk potential issues with more aggressive cleaning.
