Shelf Life of Benz Softwash Chemicals

Here’s a quick breakdown of how long each product lasts:

Bio Cleanze
Shelf life is around 2 years in a sealed container. Once opened, it’s still fine long-term as long as it’s stored indoors, upright, and away from frost.

Lightning Cleanze
Because it contains sodium hypochlorite, it naturally loses strength over time. For best results, use it within 3–6 months of purchase. It will still work after that, but the cleaning power gradually reduces. Store it in a cool, dark place.

Rust Cleanze, Oxy Cleanze, Tornado Cleanze
All of these have very long shelf lives (typically several years) as long as the lid is kept closed and they’re stored correctly.

Window Cleanze
Shelf life is 2 years in the sealed bottle.

In short: Bio Cleanze and Window Cleanze last a couple of years, Lightning Cleanze works best when fresh, and the specialist cleaners last for years.
