Twin turbo pressure pole attachment for faster roof preparation before Bio Cleanze treatment.

Product Overview

The Benz Twin Turbo Power Pole Attachment is designed for preparing tiled and slate roofs prior to treatment with Bio Cleanze.

Fitted to a telescopic pole adapted for pressure washing, the Twin Turbo allows moss, loose organic build-up and heavier surface contamination to be removed from ground level where the roof surface is suitable for pressure cleaning.

On suitable tiles or slates, it can significantly reduce the amount of manual roof scraping required and, in some cases, remove the need for manual scraping altogether.

What It’s For

The Twin Turbo is particularly useful when preparing roofs where moss or heavier organic growth needs to be removed before applying a final Bio Cleanze treatment.

It gives the operator a fast method of working across the roof surface using a converted pressure pole, while allowing the majority of the work to be carried out from ground level.

Typical applications include tiled and slate roofs that are in good condition and capable of safely withstanding controlled pressure washing.

How the Twin Turbo Works

Each turbo nozzle concentrates the water into a very fine high-impact jet.

An internal rotating mechanism causes the jet to spin rapidly, creating a circular cleaning pattern rather than directing the water continuously at one fixed point.

The Twin Turbo arrangement gives two rotating cleaning jets working together, helping increase the area covered with each pass and making roof preparation quicker and more efficient.

The nozzles do not increase the rated pressure produced by your pressure washer. Instead, the concentrated rotating jets increase the cleaning impact of the water at the surface.

Reducing Manual Roof Scraping

Traditional roof preparation can involve manually scraping moss from individual tiles before applying a softwash treatment.

Where the roofing material is suitable for pressure cleaning, the Twin Turbo provides another option.

By removing moss and loose build-up using the rotating jets, contractors can considerably reduce the amount of physical scraping required. On some suitable roofs, manual scraping may not be required at all.

Bio Cleanze can then be applied after the roof has been prepared to treat the remaining biological growth and spores and provide the longer-term softwash treatment.

Use With a Pressure Pole

The Twin Turbo is designed for use with a telescopic pole that has been suitably converted for pressure washing.

It is used together with the Benz power pole swivel, allowing the attachment to follow the angle of the roof more easily while the operator works from below.

This makes it particularly useful for professional roof cleaning where reach, control and efficient preparation are important.

Important Roof Cleaning Considerations

Not every roof should be pressure washed.

Before using the Twin Turbo, the condition and type of tile or slate should be assessed to make sure it is capable of safely withstanding the pressure and cleaning method being used.

Always begin conservatively and test a small area before proceeding across the complete roof. Particular care should be taken with fragile, damaged, heavily weathered or unsuitable roofing materials.

Professional Roof Preparation

The Twin Turbo is a useful addition to a professional pressure pole setup where faster mechanical roof preparation is required before softwash treatment.

For suitable roofs, the combination of two rotating fine jets, high level pole access and subsequent Bio Cleanze treatment can provide an efficient alternative to spending hours manually scraping the complete roof surface.
