The four techniques of softwashing (video how-to)
Because the softwashing industry is still in it's infancy, explaining to customers what softwashing is – and why they should pay you to do it – can be challenging.
In years to come softwashing will become a well-known and accepted method of cleaning exterior hard surfaces.
Right now though we are in a similar situation to where the double-glazing world was 40 years ago. Back in the day double glazing was viewed as a luxury and householders doubted its value.
At first it was common for only one house in a street to have double-glazing installed. Those people were the "early adopters". But gradually the word spread as neighbour after neighbour realised what a good thing it was.
Today we ask ourselves not "should I have double-glazing installed?" but rather "which double-glazing shall I put in from which company?".
We believe the softwashing industry will experience a similar public acceptance over the coming years.
Obviously, the question arises: "How can you get the softwashing message across to your customers today?"
One answer is to use this softwashing video to explain the simple principles of softwashing
Show your customers this two-minute softwashing video – using your phone, iPad, or laptop – which will quickly help them realise what you and your softwashing service can do for them.
A couple of minutes watching this video will be more effective than hours of talking and trying to convince a customer to buy your softwashing service.
Once your prospective customers understand what you are offering them – through the step-by-step explanation in this softwashing video – the rest of the sales process will be mostly just clarifying the details and taking the order.
SHOW THIS SHORT (2-MINUTE) SOFTWASHING VIDEO TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND LET IT DO THE HARD WORK OF EXPLAINING WHAT SOFTWASHING IS
We hope this information is helpful and inspires you to succeed in softwashing.
Cheers,
Ben, Leo
& Fiona

Hi Mark and thanks for your question,
We’ve never had cause to use Benz Oxy Cleanze on that kind of surface. If you would like to send us photos of the window frames (to support@benzsoftwash.com ) we can better advise.
In the meantime your options are twofold: 1) as usual with any surface you are unsure of, treat, with your customer’s permission, a small test area 2) contact the manufacturers of the window frames and ask for their advice.
Cheers,
Leo
