Delivery Information

We understand how important reliable, fast delivery is when you’re scheduling softwash work.

This page explains how we pack, ship and support your order from our bases in Ireland and the UK, where all Benz chemicals are made and distributed locally.

Where we deliver

We deliver to:

  • Republic of Ireland and NI

  • Mainland UK

  • Most of EU

  • Most of the Rest of the World

All chemicals are manufactured, bottled and shipped from Ireland or the UK, ensuring fast delivery without international delays.

Delivery costs

We keep delivery charges simple and fair:

  • All Benz chemicals ship free of charge

  • Equipment and accessories are charged by weight (calculated automatically at checkout)

For palletised orders or large equipment, we may contact you if an alternative delivery method is more cost-effective.

Dispatch times

Most orders placed on business days are:

  • Picked and packed the same or the next working day

  • Dispatched as soon as all items are ready

Because everything ships from Ireland or the UK, there are no customs checks or long transit routes slowing things down.

If your order is time-sensitive, add a note at checkout or get in touch so we can do our best to prioritise it.

Typical delivery timeframes

Once dispatched, typical courier times are:

  • Republic of Ireland: 1–2 working days

  • Northern Ireland: 2–3 working days

  • Mainland UK: 3–5 working days

Remote areas, weather events or courier backlogs can occasionally add extra time.
If your order is taking longer than expected, contact us with your order number and we’ll check directly with the courier.

Palletised deliveries (Lightning Cleanze 100 L+)

Orders of Lightning Cleanze in pallet quantities (100 L or more) are handled differently:

  • Lightning Cleanze for pallet orders is made fresh to order in our facility

  • The product must then be stabilised, packed, labelled and booked with the pallet network

For these reasons, please allow 5–7 working days for delivery.

Pallet deliveries also require:

  • Suitable access for a pallet truck

  • A safe, flat drop-off point

  • Someone available to accept the delivery

If you’re planning a large Lightning Cleanze order, contact us ahead of time so we can help you schedule it properly.

Hazardous goods & chemical compliance

Some products are classed as hazardous for transport, meaning:

  • They must be packed and labelled under strict ADR regulations

  • Some remote/offshore locations may not be serviceable

  • Hazardous consignments may have slightly slower courier processing

We manage all compliance and safety requirements on our side.

Tracking your order

When your order is dispatched, you’ll receive:

  • A shipping confirmation email

  • A tracking link (when provided by the courier)

Tracking may take a few hours to update after scanning.

If you don’t receive tracking information, check your junk folder, then contact us.

Missed deliveries & redelivery

If you’re not available when the courier arrives, they will:

  • Leave a calling card, or

  • Send a text/email with redelivery or collection options

Follow the courier instructions directly. If you have trouble arranging redelivery, contact us and we’ll assist where possible.

Damaged or missing items

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete:

  1. Take clear photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and any damage

  2. Contact us with:

    • Your order number

    • A short description

    • The photos attached

We’ll resolve it quickly with the courier and arrange a replacement.

Large orders & pallets

For drums, bulk chemicals and large equipment orders, we may use a pallet network.
Delivery times and access requirements differ from standard courier deliveries.

A quick message beforehand ensures there are no access issues on the day.

Need to change delivery details?

If you entered the wrong address or need to change contact details, contact us immediately.

  • If the order hasn’t shipped, we can usually update it

  • If it’s already with the courier, we’ll try our best — but changes are not always guaranteed

Holiday periods & peak seasons

During bank holidays, Christmas and the busy spring/summer season, courier networks operate on reduced capacity.

If you have a job deadline, order slightly earlier just to be safe.
