Choosing the right pole is a balance between weight, rigidity and durability. What works perfectly for one application may not be the best choice for another.

For that reason, the Benz pole range is built around two distinct designs. The Zap-Max and Zap-Lyte.

The Zap-Max has been specifically engineered for roof cleaning and prioritises strength, rigidity and durability, making it the ideal choice for operators who want maximum robustness. While still lighter than many poles on the market, it is heavier than the Zap-Lyte.

In many roof cleaning applications, this additional weight is largely offset by the tool itself. Roof scrapers typically rest on the roof surface, while pressure washing tools are supported by the force of the water, reducing the amount of weight carried by the operator. This allows the pole to be built exceptionally strong and rigid without compromising usability in demanding roof cleaning applications.

The Zap-Lyte focuses on reducing weight while maintaining excellent stiffness and strength. Its anti-spin clamp system provides precise control of the brush or nozzle, helping to minimise operator fatigue and repetitive strain during long working days. It is a joy to use compared to other heavier poles on the market.
