Simply connect to a water supply and start spraying.
The Lightning Zap Softwash Dilution and Delivery System is designed primarily for applying our Lightning Cleanze sodium hypochlorite based soft wash biocide.
At the heart of the machine is the D3RE25 Dosatron chemical injector, connected to stainless steel pipework which is wrapped around a 28-liter chemical holding tank.
To use, simply connect the system to a garden tap, turn on the flow, and the mix will be automatically diluted to the ratio set on the Dosatron.
Specifications:
- Operating Pressure: 0.5 - 4 Bar (7.35 - 58.8 psi)
- Mix Ratio Range: 1:20 to 1:4 (5% - 25%)
- Flow Range: 10 - 3000 liters per hour
The system is chemically compatible with Bio Cleanze; however, because the dilution range does not match, Bio Cleanze must be pre-diluted before use with the Dosatron. For contractors who use Bio Cleanze frequently, the Mini-Zap may be a better choice, as it is specifically designed for quaternary ammonium–based biocides such as Bio Cleanze.
How to Use with Bio Cleanze:

Pre-dilution:
Dilute 1L of Bio Cleanze with 4L of water (or 5L of Bio Cleanze with 20L of water if mixing in a large drum typically used with this Dosatron). -
For "Clean & Maintain" Applications:
Use this mix in the Dosatron, set to 9:1, to achieve a comparable strength solution to the 50:1 ratio recommended for Benz “Clean & Maintain” softwash systems. -
For Roofs and Render Treatment:
Set the Dosatron to 4:1 to achieve a comparable strength solution to the 25:1 ratio recommended for treating roofs and render.
To achieve comparable dilutions of Bio Cleanze, concentrated Bio Cleanze must be pre-diluted prior to using in the Dosatron.
1. Dilute 1L of Bio Cleanze with 4L of water (or 5L Bio Cleanze with 20L water if mixing in a large drum that would normally be used with this Dosatron)
2. Use this mix in the Dosatron set to 9:1 to achieve a comparable strength solution to the 50:1 that we recommend for the Benz “Clean & Maintain” softwash systems.
3. Set the Dosatron to 4:1 to achieve a comparable strength solution to the 25:1 we recommend for the treatment of roofs and render.
