Benz Bio Cleanze kills & controls moss – is this true?
Because of changes to the biocide legislation concerning DDAC biocides such as Benz Bio Cleanze – which for many years was used as a highly effective way to kill and control moss – we realised a great many people are going to be scratching their heads wondering what the heck is going on.
Also, just how are we going to kill and control moss from now on?
This is the legal situation concerning softwash DDAC biocides and moss
Until June 2015 the active ingredient in Bio Cleanze (DDAC) was extensively used to kill and control moss, and was widely promoted as a moss control agent.
But the politicians and bureaucrats have decreed that moss is now a “plant” and therefore from this date comes under a different set of labeling regulations.
Yes, crazy though it may seem, all that changed to make it legally impossible for us to tell you that Bio Cleanze kills and controls moss, was the movement of DDAC biocides to a different administrative category with different labeling criteria ...
Now, because of this change of legislation, only manufacturers of expensive herbicides (aka “weedkillers”), which are often quite unhealthy for humans and bad for our environment, can claim to control moss. From June 2015 no DDAC biocide manufacturer is allowed to tell you that a biodegradable DDAC biocide such as Bio Cleanze kills and controls moss.
Fortunately, as the only thing that has changed is the labeling and legislative categorisation, everything else remains the same – including the effect of Bio Cleanze on all unwanted biological growths such as moss, which we used to be able to tell you Bio Cleanze kills and controls, but are no longer allowed to tell you ...
Rest assured that the formula and contents of Bio Cleanze remains exactly the same and you can therefore continue using it to kill and control all manner of biological growths on exterior hard surfaces such as drives, paths, car parks, tennis courts, roofs, walls, render, boats, decking and other timber structures such as sheds and fences.
We hope this post has been helpful and wish you great softwashing success using Benz Bio Cleanze.

A customer emailed us asking how to soft wash wet dash render without using a pressure washer or harsh chemicals. He was wondering if Benz Bio Cleanze alone would do the job. And if so at what dilution ratio and should it be brushed in?
He also asked if his customers want a same-day result will one treatment of Benz Lightning Cleanze do the job if applied at 4:1? Or will it require several treatments and rinses?

How can you learn the practical how-to of soft washing quickly, easily and simply – without wasting several years "re-inventing the wheel" – learning through arduous trial and error – when you could have been up and running in a few weeks?
And earning well-deserved profits from a highly efficient soft washing business.
Then there is the thousands of pounds/euros that the unwary, knowing no better, can waste on expensive, and often unnecessary or inappropriate, softwash equipment. We're sure you don't want to be like them.
