Product overview
Benz high level softwash spray nozzles give professional exterior cleaners controlled chemical application when working from the ground with water-fed poles and softwash systems.
They are designed for use with Benz Bio Cleanze and Benz Lightning Cleanze, helping you apply the correct volume of product with better control, reduced spray drift and more accurate coverage at height.
Use them for treating render, roofs, cladding, gutters, soffits, fascias and other exterior surfaces where controlled softwash application matters.
Choose the correct nozzle
Benz softwash spray nozzles are available in three tip sizes: 6.5, 10 and 15. Each one changes the balance between flow, spray control and delivery pressure.
6.5 nozzle
Choose the 6.5 nozzle for applying Bio Cleanze. The smaller orifice creates a stronger, more focused spray pattern that helps drive the biocide into biofilm and porous surfaces.
It gives excellent control on render, tiled roofs and areas where you want penetration without excessive run-off or overspray.
10 nozzle
Choose the 10 nozzle for applying Lightning Cleanze. It gives a controlled, lower-drift spray pattern that works well on render, gable ends and higher surfaces where accuracy matters.
You can also use the 10 nozzle with Bio Cleanze, but it gives less focused delivery than the 6.5 nozzle.
15 nozzle
Choose the 15 nozzle for higher-flow softwash application where you need faster coverage across larger areas.
It works well on lower-level surfaces and open areas where spray drift is easier to control.
Fitting options
Choose the fitting that matches your pole setup.
European screw thread fitting
The European screw thread fitting suits water-fed poles with a male European thread.
This fitting lets you adjust the spray angle, giving more flexibility when treating different surfaces and working at different heights.
Push fit fitting
The 19mm push fit nozzle connects to standard 8 mm outside diameter pole hose and fits into compatible Benz, Gardiner and most water-fed poles.
It has a fixed 45 degree angle and is lighter than the screw thread version, which makes it easier to control when the pole is fully extended.
Why spray control matters
Good spray control protects the operator, nearby vehicles, neighbouring properties, gardens, lawns and surrounding surfaces.
Benz softwash nozzles help reduce unnecessary misting and overspray while still delivering enough product to properly wet the surface.
Correct nozzle choice also reduces product waste. You apply what the surface needs, instead of flooding it with too much chemical or creating avoidable run-off.
Understanding flow rate
The smaller the nozzle orifice, the more focused the spray becomes. The larger the orifice, the more flow it can deliver.
Think of squeezing the end of a garden hose. The water travels further and faster, but the flow reduces. A softwash nozzle works in a similar way.
For most jobs, judge the flow by watching the surface. If too much product runs off, reduce the flow. If the surface is not being fully wetted, increase the flow.
You can also check your flow rate by spraying into a bucket for one minute and measuring how much liquid you collect.
Recommended use
Use these nozzles with standard water-fed pole hose, usually 8 mm outside diameter and 5.5 mm inside diameter.
Feed the chemical through the pole hose, up the water-fed pole and into the nozzle, just as you would when using a brush setup for window cleaning.
Always select the correct nozzle size for the product, surface, height and working conditions.
